About Us

In the 1960s, our family's interest in avocados was piqued. As a child, farmer Paul was not only drawn to the distinctive taste of avocados, but fascinated by how they were farmed. His enthusiasm for farming grew and led him to a degree in fruit science from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo in the 1970s.

After graduation, Paul and his wife, Alice, shared a common goal: to pursue a family business in the burgeoning avocado industry. They worked hard, and poured love into nurturing their family and orchard. After years of hands-on farming experience, trial and error, grit, and patience, Primavera Avocados was established.

Today, Paul and Alice manage farm operations, while their children oversee the direct-to-consumer program.  Our family takes pride in cultivating healthy and sustainably grown trees and providing our customers with superior avocados.
